A visit to Christmas

We headed over to Aunt Ann's for Christmas. Eliot loved everything, especially the tree and the monkey.

Eliot wishes to leave the house

Eliot has been house-bound for about a week now. She's come down with a complicated mix of ailments, including a fever which has kept her out of daycare. I think she misses daycare because every morning when I bring her downstairs, she camps out in the front hallway, tries to put her shoes on and leave.

Favorite book

Eliot really loves this animal alphabet book. She'll go find it in the shelf, pull it down and "read" it. Almost always upside down.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Unfortunately, the first picture really captures Eliot's Thanksgiving weekend. We're not quite sure what was going on (possibly new teeth?) but she was "out of sorts". She seemed to have recovered a bit by today though. Just in time for work/daycare!

We were down in Sarasota this weekend. Eliot spent some time roaming the sidelines, snacking and then exploring the airport.

Well, it's a couple of days late due to Mommy's busy schedule but Josh's parents were nice enough to bring over a cake for Eliot tonight. Eliot got to wear her hanbok and eat some birthday cake.

Friends come to visit!

We had a blast this weekend with many great friends of all ages come to visit us. Eliot is a big social butterfly!

It was a little rainy this morning so I took Eliot to an indoor play area where Eliot conquered the play structures.

Visit with Halmunni

Eliot got to spend a lot of quality time with her halmunni (aka baby whisperer) for the past few days. There was a lot of fun, interactive book reading, singing and yummy homemade baby food.

Eliot is 9 months old

We went to her 9 month appointment on Monday. She's still in the 80-something percentile for height and weight (28 inches and 21 lbs). The highlight was when they had to draw her blood and it took 3 adults to hold her down. Here are some pictures of her opening up all the drawers and getting frustrated because she can't play with the silver knife that she found in one of them.
